The National Cybersecurity Coordination Centre for Malta will this month organise the second CYBER Breakfast for this year. The event, in the form of a business breakfast, will be held on the 10th of July at AX The Palace Hotel between 08:00 and 12:00.
The discussion will focus on the National Coordinated Vulnerability Disclosure Policy that has just been developed by MDIA and CIPD collaboratively, with a spotlight on the requirements emanating from the NIS2 Directive.
The first part of the event will provide an overview of the NIS2 Directive, namely through the introduction of the legislation, its scope and objective, while exploring its high-level requirements and focusing on the vulnerability disclosure aspect origination from it.
Following this session, we will introduce the National CVD Policy, where we will understand its scope and objective, the main elements that constitute the policy, how it will be adopted by entities and how the coordinated process for vulnerability disclosure will work.
In the final part of the event, a panel discussion will involve different stakeholders to answer questions about the policy. The aim is to expand more about the policy itself and to outline how organisations are to adopt it.
