It might start as a joke, but posting funny messages in the name of a friend through his Facebook or in simpler terms, fraping him, might get you up to 10 years in jail in Ireland.
This was pointed out during a case in the Irish court where a man was fined €2000 for taking a woman’s mobile phone and used it to post sexually abusive status updates on her Facebook Account.
It was said in court that according to a law written in 1991, which relates to revenge porn, this action carries a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison.
During the testimony in court, it was established that this particular case happened when the man was drunk and starting usign the woman’s phone. The woman quickly spotted the abusive updates and deleted them.
