We are excited to announce the last CYBER Breakfast for 2025, bringing together members of the National Cybersecurity Community for an interesting session that will explore how artificial intelligence is reshaping the digital landscape, bringing both unprecedented opportunities and complex security challenges.
The session will delve into the evolving relationship between AI and information security – from governance and regulatory accountability to the technical front lines of application and operations security.
The event will take place on Thursday, 27th November 2025 between 08:00 and 12:00, at The Link Hall, Malta Business Registry, AM Business Centre, Triq il-Labour, Zejtun.

The first session will be delivered by Matthew Sciberras, Antoine Debono, Matthew Mizzi and Nicholas Sciberras, from Invicti Security. They will begin by setting the context – examining governance frameworks, policy implications, and the CISO’s perspective on managing AI-related risks.
The discussion will then move into the realm of AI in Application Security, featuring insights into the emerging “AI OWASP Top 10” and how AI is enhancing vulnerability detection and mitigation.
Through live demonstrations, attendees will witness real-world examples of AI-driven threat detection in action, along with simulated attacks on large language models (LLMs) that expose the hidden risks behind these powerful systems.
The session will conclude with an exploration of how AI is transforming Security Operations Centres (SOCs) and incident response workflows – highlighting both the efficiency gains and the new attack surfaces introduced by intelligent automation.
By the end of this session, participants will gain a balanced understanding of how to leverage AI responsibly and securely within their organizations, ensuring that innovation does not outpace control.
After a coffee break, the event will continue with a wildcard session, presented in a format different from the usual – reserved exclusively for those who register and attend.
This event is open strictly to Community Members.
