We are excited to announce another CYBER Breakfast, bringing together members of the National Cybersecurity Community for an interesting session that will explore the critical role of threat intelligence and information sharing in strengthening cross-sector operational resilience.
Attendees will gain practical insights into the key players within the threat intelligence ecosystem, including Information Sharing and Analysis Centres (ISACs), government bodies, and commercial intelligence providers.
The event will also examine how evolving cyber regulations are influencing the adoption and use of threat intelligence. Through focused sessions and discussions, participants will deepen their understanding of how and why organisations should consume, share, and collaborate on threat intelligence to stay ahead in an era where digital operational resilience is not just important, but essential.
The event will take place on Tuesday, 16th September 2025 between 08:00 and 12:00, at The Link Hall, Malta Business Registry, AM Business Centre, Triq il-Labour, Zejtun.

The first part of the session will be dedicated to a presentation by foreign speaker Moona Ederveen, Board Advisor and Innovative Tech Influencer at Cyber London. She recently served as Executive Director EMEA, FS-ISAC.
Moona has been visiting international security conferences from age 16, she consulted at global banks and advised on cybersecurity and risk for nearly two decades. As a multi-lingual brand ambassador to financial services, other sectors, and government stakeholders, she is an avid builder of trusted communities. A strong advocate for cross-sector crisis preparedness and resilience, she also works to encourage the next generation of talent into tech careers.
Her presentation “The Power of Community: How ISACs Transform National Cybersecurity” will delve into how Malta’s best defence to strengthen its cyber shield may come from a competitor. During the session, various types of threat intelligence sharing will be explored, while examining why community defence is embedded in global regulations, and show how to implement these practices locally. From ISACs to the Global Resilience Federation, discover how collaborative defence transforms individual security into collective preparedness and resilience.
The session will then be followed by a fireside chat between Moona Ederveen and Marthese Vella from the National Cybersecurity Consultation Council. The session will take a deeper look into the challenges that both practitioners and leaders in cybersecurity face in building community resilience.
After a coffee break, the second part of the event will proceed with a breakout session where attendees will be discussing the practical challenges they find in managing and consuming threat intelligence in security operations.
