We would like to invite you to the next CYBER Breakfast that will bring the local cybersecurity ecosystem together for a structured conversation about where the National Cyber Security Strategy has been, and where it must go next.
The morning opens with a candid retrospective on “The Strategy We Had” that shall examine what the current strategy promised across its four key domains, what was actually delivered, and what gaps remain as we look toward 2027–2030. From there, the discussion shifts from reflection to co-creation, inviting the wider ecosystem into a collaborative World Café on “The Strategy We Need,” where participants will debate domain-by-domain successes and blind spots, identify the priorities the next strategy must deliver, and challenge whether the existing four-domain structure should stay, evolve, or give way to something new altogether.
To ensure the conversation remains anchored in tomorrow’s realities rather than yesterday’s assumptions, Xjenza Malta will join us for the second part of the event with a forward look at “Putting Space Into Cyberspace – How Space Secure Are You?”. The growing interdependence between cyberspace and space introduces new threats and vulnerabilities, with space systems rapidly becoming attractive targets for state and non-state actors. This closing discussion offers a concrete test case for the strategic thinking developed earlier in the morning – a tangible example of the emerging frontiers any credible 2027–2030 strategy must be ready to address.

The event will take place on Thursday, 9th July between 08:00 and 12:00, at The Link Hall, Malta Business Registry, AM Business Centre, Triq il-Labour, Zejtun.
