We are excited to announce the second CYBER Breakfast for this year, that will bring together members of the National Cybersecurity Community for an insightful session – EU Funding Demystified: What You Need to Know and Why It Matters.
A half-day capacity building event designed to equip stakeholders with the knowledge and practical skills needed to navigate and successfully access EU funding opportunities.
The session will cut through the complexity of centrally managed programmes such as the Digital Europe Programme (DEP) and Horizon Europe, covering the fundamentals of direct and indirect funding while sharing key findings from a recent study commissioned by the MITA-NCC and conducted by PwC on the uptake of EU funding across Malta.
A moderated panel discussion will bring together EU funding beneficiaries who will share first-hand insights on what worked, what didn’t, and what they wish they had known. Their experiences offer a candid, practical perspective that goes beyond theory to expose real-world challenges and success factors.
The event will culminate in a series of hands-on breakout sessions guided by EU Funding Subject Matter Experts. Participants will be guided through actual call documents, from past or forthcoming calls, which will be used as practical references to unpack key concepts and better understand what makes a strong application. Through this guided exercise, attendees will walk away with a clearer picture of the process and greater confidence in taking the first steps towards applying.
Whether you are exploring EU funding for the first time or looking to strengthen your approach, this event is a valuable opportunity to build capability, exchange knowledge, and take the next step towards successful participation.
